I Immidiately did a rollback to 3.2.3, but still a crash occurs and windows tells me that now its related to cclgui.dll (I know this is a presonus.dll) Meanwhile I updated windows and all related hardware (this is a dualboot system with the os on seperate discs (windows 8.1 for DAW wich is offline and windows 10 for private use), so no regular updates for windows 8.1, therefor the i updated these) After a CLEAN install of the 3.3 version I still get the roland driver error from windows.
Octa Capture Drivers And StudioEventually i choose to not load the roland drivers and studio one boots fully at wich point a can choose a different driver, asio4all.Octa Capture Install Of TheChanging back to Roland drivers, it crashes again at startup, however the error that windows gives me says its the cclgui.dll that causes the crash. This is still version 3.3 Starting to lose hope here, so went back to 3.2.3, did a CLEAN install, and everything is working as usual. I suspect this has something to do with the roland drivers and the cclgui.dll framework that does not play nice with each other. My system: windows 8.1 pro updated offline (dualboot with windows 10 pro on seperate discs) I-5 2380P locked 3.1GHz Total 8GB two stick ddr3 1333mhz MB Asrock P67 Pro3 I will try to install Studio One 3.3 on windows 10 and see if that works, however I use Softube plugins and XLNA addictive trigger and studio one still does not play nice with these plugin, the compatibilty fix for the softube plugins does not allow the XLNA plugin to load. In short, it seems that the Studio One 3.3 update is the culprit possibly the gui framework. I hope this informations is sufficient to come up with a fix. Good Job Is there a way that I can change the thread name to solved with update. Octa Capture Mac Sierra ButThe only other variable is that I upgraded to Mac Sierra but every thing else is fine.
